The coordinator of the project
Elckie Centrum Kultury , from Poland, and other project partners are aware that elderly students are a special group when it comes to teaching them digital skills, since many of them are facing various physical and mental limitations, which reduce their ability to judge, decide about and receive the information they are getting. Therefore, it is very important to join learning of digital skills with something that interests and motivates seniors and gives them a lot of useful information. For this reason, the international Erasmus + project ´Go digital! Culture at your Fingertips´ is researching and comparing various ways of teaching digital skills to seniors through culture. Throughout the project, the partners have been comparing and implementing various examples of how to motivate and teach seniors how to gather different information about culture on internet and at the same time improve their digital skills.
The outcome will be a catalogue with examples of these good practices and some advice to mentors about how to make teaching digital skills to seniors more fun and motivating.
